Polyurethane-27

¿Qué es?

Polyurethane-27 is a complex polymer that is formed by the reaction of Polyperfluoroethoxymethoxy Difluorohydroxyethyl Ether and isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) to form a prepolymer. The prepolymer is further reacted with the triethylamine salt of 3-hydroxy-2-(hydroxymethyl)-2-methyl-1-propionic acid

Polyurethane-27 aparece en el inventario UE de ingredientes cosméticos con las siguientes funciones declaradas:

• Film forming

  forms a thin continuous film on skin, hair, or nails — used in long-wear makeup, sunscreens, and hairsprays

• Hair conditioning

  improves the appearance, feel, and manageability of hair

• Skin protecting

  helps shield skin from external environmental factors

Polyurethane-27 está permitido en productos cosméticos en la Unión Europea bajo el Reglamento 1223/2009. No está sujeto a una restricción de Anexo específica en el momento de la redacción.
