Sesquiethoxytriethanolamine is the product obtained by the reaction of ammonia and ethylene oxide consisting chiefly of Triethanolamine and hydroxyethoxyethyl diethanolamine.

• Surfactant - emulsifying

  surfactant that forms and stabilises emulsions of oil and water — without it, creams and lotions would separate

Sesquiethoxytriethanolamine is toegestaan in cosmetische producten in de Europese Unie onder Verordening 1223/2009. Het is op het moment van schrijven niet onderhevig aan een specifieke Bijlagebeperking.
