Priloga II Uredbe EU o kozmetiki navaja snovi, ki so popolnoma prepovedane v kozmetičnih izdelkih, ki se prodajajo na evropskem trgu. Če katero od njih vidite na deklaraciji izdelka, ki se prodaja v EU, je to težava — ne sme biti tam.
Seznam je širok. Nekatere so težke kovine, druge pesticidi, druge farmacevtske učinkovine, ki nimajo kaj iskati v vlažilni kremi. Mnoge so nejasne industrijske kemikalije, ki jih nikoli ne bi našli v resničnem izdelku. Bistvo je: EU potegne trdno mejo, in te snovi so na napačni strani.
