Oleic/linoleic/linolenic Polyglycerides er optaget i EU's fortegnelse over kosmetiske ingredienser med følgende deklarerede funktioner:

• Binding

  holds the components of a formulation together, especially in pressed powders and compact makeup

• Emulsion stabilising

  stabilises emulsions of oil and water, preventing separation over time

• Skin conditioning - emollient

  softens the skin by reducing roughness and friction between skin cells

• Surfactant - cleansing

  surfactant whose primary cosmetic role is cleansing — the active workhorse in soaps, shampoos, and body washes

• Viscosity controlling

  adjusts the thickness or flow of a formulation

EU-regulatorisk status

Oleic/linoleic/linolenic Polyglycerides er tilladt i kosmetiske produkter i Den Europæiske Union under forordning 1223/2009. Ikke omfattet af en specifik bilagsbegrænsning på skrivetidspunktet.
