Wat doet het?

Oleic/linoleic/linolenic Polyglycerides staat in de EU-inventaris van cosmetische ingrediënten met de volgende aangegeven functies:

• Binding

  holds the components of a formulation together, especially in pressed powders and compact makeup

• Emulsion stabilising

  stabilises emulsions of oil and water, preventing separation over time

• Skin conditioning - emollient

  softens the skin by reducing roughness and friction between skin cells

• Surfactant - cleansing

  surfactant whose primary cosmetic role is cleansing — the active workhorse in soaps, shampoos, and body washes

• Viscosity controlling

  adjusts the thickness or flow of a formulation

EU-regelgevingsstatus

Oleic/linoleic/linolenic Polyglycerides is toegestaan in cosmetische producten in de Europese Unie onder Verordening 1223/2009. Het is op het moment van schrijven niet onderhevig aan een specifieke Bijlagebeperking.
