What is it?

sh-Polypeptide-129 is a single chain recombinant human peptide, produced by fermentation in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells. The starting gene, which is a synthesized copy of the human gene that codes for High Affinity Immunoglobulin Epsilon Receptor Subunit Alpha, is used as such or adapted to the production host. It contains a maximum of 257 amino acids which may contain disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation. (sh-Polypeptide-129 is included in the INCI database as a reference for the definition of other INCI Names, and might not be a marketed cosmetic ingredient).
