The RNA is a Dickkopf-1-specific siRNA comprised of 19 ribonucleotides. The modified DNA is a complementary strand comprised of 19 deoxyribonucleotides selected from the human Dickkopf-1 mRNAs. This was developed for effective and specific degradation of mRNA coding for Dickkopf-1.
