The RNA is an androgen-receptor-specific siRNA comprised of 19 ribonucleotides. The modified DNA is a complementary strand comprised of 19 deoxyribonucleotides selected from the isoform-common region of human androgen receptor mRNAs isoform 1. This was developed for effective and specific degradation of mRNA coding androgen receptor.
