What is it?

Disodium Cupheamido MIPA-Sulfosuccinate is a disodium salt of a substituted isopropanolamide half ester of sulfosuccinic acid. It conforms to the formula:Where RCO- represents the fatty acids derived from the seed oil of the hybrid formed between Cuphea viscosissima and Cuphea lanceolata.

EU regulatory status

Disodium Cupheamido Mipa-Sulfosuccinate is allowed for use in cosmetic products in the European Union under Regulation 1223/2009. It is not subject to a specific Annex restriction at the time of writing.
